24 weeks*

I am getting HUGE!!!!!!!!! The baby is doing well. Sunday night, Kevin and I watched a kickin' show for a good 20 minutes. He was just all over the place in my stomach, kicking and we could see it all. It was crazy! Almost like a little alien, hahaha.

Weeks 17-22*

a comic strip!

22 weeks is almost over..

A woman at my church suggested a natural oil to try for my morning sickness. It's called Peppermint Oil. She suggested I put one drop in my belly button to ease the sickness. It's expensive so I bought a few drops to start off and try it. Well, this week has went really well. Towards the evening I'm still not feeling well, but throughout the day, I feel a lot better. I am going to let her know tomorrow at church that I feel like it's working and that I'd like to purchase a whole bottle.

I'm kind of stressed out. I know they say still at this stage it is possible that a woman may go a few days w/out feeling the baby being very active, but I haven't felt him in two days. Now I don't know if I have and I've been too paranoid that I've missed it or if he really isn't moving. I'm very scared. I am praying that everything is ok. I have an appointment on Monday and I'll be able to hear the heartbeat so we should know then if something is not right. Keep your fingers crossed, please!!!

Helping with the baby shower...

Our baby shower is in the works, hopefully it will be at the end of June. I've slowly started to register for things on www.walmart.com and www.babiesrus.com - right now small things are on the registry, Kevin and I will register for bigger things, together. My mom is planning the shower and hopefully my mother-in-law... I have so many leftover things from the reception that will aid in the baby shower so that will be nice. I've actually even considered making my own cake. Those of you who know me know I love to bake and decorate unusual cakes and I do a pretty decent job at it. It sould be fun!!!! I thinkwe are going with a rubber duck theme just because that is something I've always loved... I like the Safari theme also, so it could all change in the end, ha!

We've thought of the cake,"Bucket Full of Duckies"

The centerpieces will be very similar to these...

We may make a cake diaper for the main centerpiece, it should be fun!!!

Also, I have cute, clear boxes leftover from the reception and we will be using them to fill with candy for the party favors.

21 weeks* and still getting sick..

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Man, why have I become one of the unlucky ladies who goes through morning sickness way past the first trimester? I told myself that when I became pregnant, I would never be a complainer because it drives me nuts when people do that, but I've been so sick throughout this whole thing that complaining has taken over my life. I am still getting sick now, probably more now than in the first trimester.

I have this metallic taste in the back of my throat at all times that causes me to be very nauseous and throw up a lot. Poor Kevin had to see me get sick in a restaurant parking lot on Saturday night. That was a sight, quite embarassing if you ask me.

Pray for me, please!!
