I had my second appointment today - 12 weeks and 3 days - the doctr didn't think he could hear the baby on the doppler so he said he would do an ultrasound. He did an abdominal one this time instead of the vaginal, man, I wish he would've done the vaginal, it would've been so clear. The baby was "asleep" and not moving. He kept trying to get a good view of it for us to see and I laughed and the baby woke up and started kicking and moving it's arms everywhere. The heartrate was 167 - it was 169 last time so still pretty high. I have a siatic nerve problem because of the pregancy and so I'm going to have to start physical therapy soon, booooooo.
Absolutely everything is great with the baby!!!!! I go back in 4 weeks (March 5th).
At first it wasn't moving at all and I was soooooooooooooo nervous, but I could see the huge heart flicker on the screen then he let us listen. This was Kevin's first appointment so now it's all very real to him!!!!!!!!!
(Baby Kocher's heartrate was 167 this time around)
